Happy Anniversary Seoul-style!

Last night we celebrated our anniversary in Seoul. We had dinner at Top Cloud which is a restaurant located on the top floor of the Millenium Plaza Building. The restaurant is run by the Shilla Hotel, a very beautiful hotel here in Seoul.

In the background of this picture is the Millenium Plaza Building, the top oval-shaped ring of the building is Top Cloud restaurant. Unforunately it was a horrible day and evening out with it being monsoon season.

Our dinner was so yummy and the view was amazing!

This is a view inside the restaurant – our table was back around the curve to the right in the nicer section. We opted to sit in the grill section because the bar section, in the forefront, serves a buffet on Sundays.

The views were spectacular and the atmosphere was perfect for an anniversary dinner.

Here’s Joe enjoying his perfect steak!

Happy Anniversary to us!

After dinner we wandered around the Jonggak area in the rain 😦 and headed to a Jazz Club for a drink. On our way to the Jazz Club we stumbled upon Photo Story.

This little shop is a store with about 6 different photo booths. You can get pictures, stickers, key chains, etc. made. We paid 5000 Won for some photos but since we couldn’t understand the Korean instructions on the machine we didn’t get any fancy stickers or backgrounds. Oh well, it was fun anyway!

Since you can buy pretty much everything on the streets in Seoul we came upon a flower stand. So, of course, Joe bought me some beautiful flowers for our anniversary.

It was a wonderful evening with my amazing hubby. After our drinks we headed back to the hotel at Yongsan and slept in late this morning and enjoyed brunch at the hotel before heading back to Songtan. Until next year!
