Tapas Festival

Two weeks ago was the Tapas Festival in Moron.  It was a week long event where local restaurants come out to introduce the townspeople to the various tapas they have to offer.  We headed out to the festivities on Saturday night with Kane & Celina and Joey & Rena.

The enormous tent set up with a dozen or so booths offering small tapas plates for 1 – 2 Euros apiece.

After wandering around the food tent we headed over to a large tent of horses they had set up next to the bull ring.

We wandered around the horse stalls petting the horses and shopping at some of the stalls inside the festival tent.

This was a great Moroccan spice vendor in the festival tent.  We picked up some candies and some baked goods made by some nuns at a local convent.

Next week is Semana Santa and a group of us are heading to Sevilla to observe the festivities on Tues. the 18th.

  1. Wow! Those spices look great. i wish I were there. No, I did not stage Reagan’s toy you sent her on my blog. She loves the tags and Leandro rubs her face with the soft side…she thinks it is so funny!
