So I can’t remember where but I read about this time wasting website HowManyofMe.com and I just knew I had to give it a try. There are apparently 549 Melanie Taylors in the U.S. but when I typed in my maiden name it said there are 0 people with the last name of Mosesman. What? I don’t think so! I mean, I know dozens of them, they are ALL related to me. My grandfather had like a dozen siblings, many of which included boys and my family reunions are rather large events. Half of my wedding invitation list consisted of people with the last name Mosesman. What rubbish! Could it possibly be that nobody with the last name Mosesman filled out a census bureau survey? I’m very disappointed! I had to Google myself just to feel better.

I do have an unusual name- I am related to almost everyone in the US with the same last name.
But I was named after someone a few generations ago, so I know there have been at least 2 of us in the history of the world.
