It is so easy to get into bad habits at the holiday season.
You know the ones: overeating, overbuying, overdrinking, overdoing it all.
When I stumbled upon the 30 Days of Giving Challenge I thought – AHA! What a great idea.
There are so many ways to give this season.
And I’m not talking about crap that ends up at your Spring Cleaning Garage Sale.
The ladies blogging over at the 30 Days of Giving Challenge site will be linking up tons of great ways to help others this holiday season.
This year Joe and I thought it would be fun to donate $1 for EVERY. SINGLE. Christmas (or Chanukah or Kwanzaa) card we receive. We will be sending the money to Samaritan’s Purse to purchase things such as clean water filters, first aid kits and livestock for needy countries. If you would like to help us in our endeavor just comment below and I will send you our address. I’ll keep you posted on our card count as the holidays get closer.
This is going to be fun!
If you want to get in on the Challenge, stop by the site.
Won’t you join in the fun?
Oh my goodness! You all are so creative. I LOVE the Christmas card idea. c-:
