Korea

Moving Day

Can you see Joe waving up there?  In Korea, since most people live in high-rise apartment buildings, the moving companies use a motorized conveyor belt thingie (the technical term, of course) to carry your boxes down to the moving truck.

It’s a little nerve wracking to watch your favorite piece of furniture carried down a crudely built wooden platform from 11 stories above ground.

The movers came at 1 PM and were done by 3:30 PM.  Hopefully everything they stuffed into our shipping crates will ship overseas to Spain without any damage.  The logistics of a military move always amaze me!
