This past Saturday my friends here in Spain threw me a baby shower.  They were so generous and organized and planned a lovely luncheon at the Club on base. 

Brianna made the invitations, Rena made this adorable cake

and everyone else brought tons of yummy food.

Celina planned and executed all the fun games.  We played Baby Item Price is Right, Mommy & Daddy Attributes, Baby Pictionary and here we are playing Brown Bag Special.

We are trying to figure out what the baby items are inside the sealed bags.

These lovely ladies blessed me and Tripp with even more fun things, not that I needed anything else after my 2 showers in the U.S. this past August.

Rena, Joey and baby Adriana got Tripp his first set of wheels.

It’s a walker that looks like a red convertible car.  It’s so stinkin’ cute!

Our friends, the Whitfords, who recently moved to Georgia sent a package of Atlanta Braves stuff for us.  Joe is a huge Braves fan so they sent him some Braves Stadium Peanuts and they sent Tripp a cute Atlanta Braves onesie, bib and booties set.

The Warren family got Tripp his first Christmas outfit – how cute are those reindeer feeties?

Joe and I are so lucky to have made such special friends here in Spain.  I remind myself everyday how lucky we are to make such wonderful friends wherever we go in the world.
