My mom arrived from the States last Saturday and Joe and I picked her up in Malaga.  She was very excited that Tripp waited for her to come witness his arrival but he still hasn’t made his appearance.  We headed to Rota today for my 40 week appt. and the Dr. was very enthusiastic about my progress.  I am still only 2 cm dilated but I have effaced further and the babies station is getting closer.  She said he grew a lot in the past week, despite the fact that I lost 2.5 pounds (even though it was Thanksgiving).  The Dr. said that she thinks he may come on his own in the next week but if he doesn’t we are going to induce next Tues.  I am hoping the little guy comes on his own and my body is ready for him but if not I am confident in my Dr. and her advice to induce next week.  We are just so excited there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  We can’t wait to see our little boy!
