Tripp is 11 days old today and it seems like he has been here for years.  We are starting to fall into a rhythm, although some days are harder than others, which is to be expected when you have a newborn.

Tripp is getting better sleeping at night, he’s starting to sleep for about 3 to 3.5 hours at a time, waking to feed and rock for about an hour in between.  We’re still getting used to his diaper change schedule but overall he is very mellow, crying only when he’s wet or hungry.

He can already hold up his head quite well and makes lots of cute little noises.  We can tell he’s already starting to change, a little everyday.

My dad arrived in Spain for 9 days this past Saturday and it’s so nice to have my parents here to help with the baby and household tasks.

He loves to look around and loves to stare at the mobile on his rainforest pack and play.
